Dear Theater Parents!
Our first rehearsal was amazing! Not only did the children leave smiling, the entire production staff was grinning ear-to-ear with excitement and enthusiasm. Your kids “brought it” and we can’t wait to unleash more of their talent this weekend.
Pictures & Video Coverage from Our First Rehearsal
Rehearsal - Sunday, January 31
Everyone should arrive promptly at 1:30 and meet in Zale Auditorium. Pick up will be at 5:30. Please remind our performers to bring their scripts and a pencil.
Please do your best to provide healthy snacks, low in sugar. While many of you rely on the vending machine, please minimize that as an option if possible. Healthy, low-sugar snacks help to keep our performers engaged, focused, and on task.
Practicing at Home
I have happily heard from several parents that their children are learning their Seuss songs at home and have begun working on their lines. Please encourage that they listen to the CD, learn their lines, and keep up the good work!
Important Dates and Deadlines
Tuesday, February 9 is around the corner and that is when bios and a digital version of your child’s headshot (if you have one and prefer to use your headshot, rather than the one we will take next week ) are due. I inspire you to please take care of it now. Knock it off your to-do list and feel like a rock star. While you're at it, knock purchasing a Playbill ad off of your list too! Remember, the proceeds help fund our amazing arts program. Take a personal ad out for your well-deserved performer or if you own a small business placing an ad in our playbill is a strategic way to reach the community.
- February 7 - Headshots will be taken for the performance poster.
- February 9 - Performers bios are due. Click the button below for details and to view a sample bio.
- February 9 - Digital version of headshot is due if you have one that you want to use for the performance poster. Must be a 300 dpi jpeg.
- February 22 - Last day to purchase Playbill ads. Corresponding personal messages are due.
Contest to Win Additional Complimentary Tickets
Thank you to all of you who sent your bios in. Congrats! Because you all did such a good job, all bios that I received by Wednesday, January 27 will get a complimentary ticket. Your effort is greatly appreciated and we want to reward your timeliness.
