Wednesday, June 13 | 11 am (Tycher Library)
Do you comb through websites and look over toy shelves trying to figure out what's best for your child? Ever wonder which of those many Pinterest activities are worth investing your time, energy, and frustration in? Why is it that the super cool toy is cast aside in favor of the box that opens and closes? Come find out answers to these questions and more with Developmental Psychology Professor (and preschool parent), Dr. Candice Mills. Join us for a discussion of what skills and areas of development your little one is focusing on at different ages and what toys and activities help foster their growth and development.
The Scoop on Poop

Studies show that infants as young as a couple of months old are fascinated by surprises and have a natural curiosity to figure out what causes unexpected reactions. This class is designed to encourage you and your child to explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) materials and concepts together and use surprising provocations as a springboard to investigation.
