Mission and Philosophy
The philosophy of the Sherry and Ken Goldberg Family Early Childhood Center is to embrace all children in a nurturing Jewish environment where learning opportunities abound for children. Families partner with teachers to create “an extended family” for learning, growing and belonging for all!
- We believe that all children can reach their highest personal potential in an environment that welcomes all.
- We believe that building community begins in the early childhood center.
- We believe that together with families, the early childhood experience plays an important role in teaching Jewish tradition and creating Jewish memories.
- We believe that, through making a difference in the lives of our children, we are making a difference in their families and in ourselves.
In learning together through discovery and awakening the passion for learning in a vibrant community setting!!

We will foster the development of basic life skills naturally through a warm and nurturing environment that encourages sharing, caring and getting along.
Making Learning Visible Inside and Out
Our curriculum and instruction philosophy focuses on the development of the whole child and school readiness by using social/emotional development as the unshakable foundation for the stage by stage development of cognitive, language, physical, scientific, creative, and self-help skills.
Our educators use a constructivist approach to learning where they view students as active participants in their own learning, thus igniting their curiosity and love for learning.
Our educators focus on instilling the moral characteristics rooted deeply in Jewish values and naturally complement them with Jewish tradition and culture.
Our entire staff models and encourages healthy behaviors for our students and families that encompass methods for wellness within our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Our students and families are surrounded by an accepting community where you will feel at home that adds an additional benefit of over 20 options for extracurricular activities daily.
