Pre/Post Natal Fitness Programs
Moms on the Move
Calling all moms and moms-to-be to join us in a pre/post natal fitness program.
Starting January 2018.
These unique exercise classes are designed for moms and moms-to-be at all stages of pregnancy and postpartum. They include a mixture of yoga postures and breathing techniques focused on helping your body build and maintain strength for childbirth and beyond.
Can't find child care during these times? We encourage you to bring your children (ages four weeks to two years) to the classes and include them as part of your workout!
J members pay $10/class.
- Maintain recommended weight gain
- Create and recover pelvic floor strength while simultaneously developing the deep abdominal muscles
- Improve and maintain functional mobility and strength
- Strengthen and develop posture
- Relieve back pain
- Improve overall emotional health
Participating in an exercise program helps expectant mothers make the most of the bodies' ability to work, rest, play, and recover from pregnancy.
This program is designed to manage common occurrences associated with pregnancy and assist expectant mothers in preparing for childbirth.
