Linda Leonard

Linda Leonard received her B.F.A. in acting from Butler University. She has taught acting at universities around the country including TCU, UC Santa Barbara, and U of Illinois. Linda was the Education Director for Addison's WaterTower Theatre for two years and taught workshops and Master Classes in Musical Theatre and Movement at Texas Woman's University, Marion College and Strasbourg Institute in New York City. Currently, Linda is on staff at KD Studios in Dallas where she teaches Musical Theatre classes for Conservatory students during the school year and children of all ages in their summer camp program.

Linda has been a professional director, choreographer, actor, singer, dancer for more than 27 years. She has worked in New York, L.A., Chicago, Europe, and most recently, all over the Metroplex including Dallas Shakespeare, Contemporary Dance Fort Worth, Theatre Three, Lyric Stage, WaterTower, Uptown Players, Casa Manana, Granbury Opera House and Circle Theatre. At the J, Linda has directed and choreographed The Bar Mitzvah, Children of Eden, Rags, Meshuggah Nuns, Fiddler on the Roof and South Pacific to much acclaim. She has been the recipient of many awards including the Rabin Award for "Best Actress in a Musical" for the role of Aurora in Kiss of the Spider Woman.
