Got Game? J Group Exercise Program has Game. There is something to be said about our group fitness class offerings.  Our schedule offers some of the most cutting edge group class programming in the city minus the expensive membership price tag.  Cycle, Row, TRX Suspension Train, and Dance your way to a healthy, happy, new you.                                       
Finding a path to being happy and fit is a different for everyone. As group fitness director at the J, my goal is to provide a mixture of programming options that deliver exceptional group exercise experiences that will enhance your road to being well, being fit and being happy.  Just like your favorite coffee shop that offers a specialty flavor coffee drink of the month, our feature classes will allow you this summer to try out a few new innovative class formats that will keep your workouts fresh and inspire you to keep moving and get your  summer shape up game plan in gear.  

 Here are the J’s Top 5 Trending Group Fitness Class offerings for the Summer of 2013.  

J Fit Met Con - Metabolic Conditioning has become one of the most popular ways to burn fat and become leaner. Join Group Fitness Instructor Ben Williams on Sunday morning  to learn how to get strong , burn tons of calories and find the strength within to achieve your fitness goals.

Tabata- Jabs Abs - Kick it ,punch it, and increase your Metabolic Rate amounting to better fitness. Our J instructor, Christy Harder, will motivate you to dig a little deeper, by going the distance to achieve your summer beach body.  Christy loves to include Tabata training segments to ensure a boost in your metabolism. 

“HIT” the Water - High Intensity Training in the water will challenge your fat burning capacity with a high intensity aqua fitness interval training class.  Our J Aqua Fitness Instructor Marilyn Harris is in to see to it that you win it, by getting you to reach beyond your limits on the Tabata Interval training periods.

Soma Matrix Strength - A class based upon the principles of Applied Functional Science, free weight training with real life function that delivers real life results.  Come see why Tre’ Bradley’s group exercise  class has everyone chattering.

Tred-n-Burn - This treadmill base interval training class allows you the participant to work out through a variety of brisk walking, power walking, and jogging with periods of recovery. Bouts of Tabata, varies speeds, agility and angle of treadmill set the tone for Coaches Ben, Cher and Terri, to get you to challenge you. It is “you versus you” minus the Texas heat in this class setting.
