In the last three years, the JCC Gymnastics program has quadrupled in size. Today, nearly 300 gymnasts participate in classes and teams during the school year, with even more participating in our various camps and special events throughout the year. Our programs include:
Since the late '70s, the gymnastics program at the JCC has provided our members and community with a place to learn gymnastics in a fun-filled and positive environment, while forming life-long friendships and having a home away from home. Over thirty years later, much of the equipment being used in our gym today is the same equipment! Many of our beams, panel mats, landing mats, and more are outdated and need to be replaced. Other equipment is simply worn down after 15+ years of use. New technology has improved the quality of gymnastics equipment to allow for better training and improved safety. Our goal is to replace old equipment with new and updated equipment, along with adding additional training aids that will add new and fun ideas to our gymnastics lessons. In addition to the equipment, our gym is in need of physical renovations to improve the visual look of the facility along with creating a more efficient program by replacing the back storage area with a restroom and offices. You have the opportunity to help us fill our new gymnastics space with new equipment, which will vastly improve the quality of the gymnastics education that our current and future participants will receive.
