Ooey Goey Sensory Science

Young scientists use their senses as they explore the world around them. Creating science experiments that encourage them to use their five senses helps children process new information. Children develop vocabulary as they describe their experiments through the physical senses. Sensory activities are extremely important to children's development. Learning through the senses helps them develop attention, coordination and many other important skills. There are certain activities you can do with children to arouse their senses and help them learn about the world around them.

Hooked on Science

Are you ready to mix up some wild and wacky science magic? Each week you uncover “science secrets” by doing your own Steve Spangler experiments. Get hooked on science with insta-snow, erupting volcanoes, disappearing ink, atomic glow slime, flying potatoes, erupting soda, and much more. This sensory experience guarantees to excite your imagination and grab your attention. If you want an unforgettable learning experience with innovative hands-on activities, captivating demonstrations, and creative learning tools, join us each week!

Ooh-la-la…feather boas, tutus, pearls and pooches! Who doesn’t love to be fancy? This unique class was inspired by the charming Fancy Nancy books written by Jane O’Connor. This class encourages creativity and confidence in the most delightful ways. We enhance our vocabularies with fancy words (including learning some French words) as we engage in etiquette lessons, fashion shows, pedicures and manicures, tea parties and crafts. It’s going to be tres, tres, exciting, darling!

Hey diva’s, join us for some rocking, reading, ultimate pampering, and endless fun while bonding with old friends and making new ones along the way! Join us each week as we discuss the book of the month along with designing our own jewelry, singing, dancing, baking, mani and pedi’s, up-do’s and glittery makeovers! Everyone knows a little shimmer and bling can turn your whole day around!!

Pass the pea’s please! You learn all about good manners and proper etiquette in this hands-on, informational course. Practice the proper way to make introductions and greetings, get tips on table etiquette, restaurant manners, phone etiquette, writing thank you notes and much, much more. This is instruction with life-long benefits!!

Children are actively involved in hands-on learning as they’re guided to expand their critical thinking and planning skills as they build. Critical thinking and construction skills include mathematics, physics and design. The possibilities are endless from constructing with Legos, blocks and wood to building friendships along the way. Children, explore techniques to build and create. Many projects go home but, for group creations, pictures are the memory!

Hunting for buried treasure, dress up and drama too! That’s right; a pirate’s life is for me! So don’t be late or you’ll walk the plank. Arrrggghhhh!
