Fitness Orientations
Ages: 13 Years and Older
The J fitness staff wants each and every member to experience exercise and fitness in the most positive way possible and we aspire to assist each one of you in achieving all of your health and fitness goals. Do you already know what you want from your workout but don't quite know how to use the equipment? During this orientation, a member of our personal training staff shows you how to correctly use each piece of equipment. You learn proper alignment, biomechanics and technique on each strength piece, as well as proper usage of all cardiovascular pieces. This is a great way to become familiar with all the equipment at the J. Contact Justin Hodan at 214-239-7155 of jhodan@jccdallas.org to schedule your appointment today!

Yang 24 Form Tai Chi
On-going
Thursdays
6:30-7:30 p.m.
Broad open postures, graceful lines, and a smooth even pace of movement characterize Yang Style Tai Chi. The Yang 24 Form is a simplified training routine based on the movements of the traditional Yang Style form of Tai Chi, commonly known as the 108. It is an excellent form for beginners, as it can be learned in a relatively short period of time and is widely practiced throughout the world. Designed to develop core strength, outstanding balance, complex coordination and mental clarity, the Yang 24 Form, as taught by 28-year veteran instructor Sifu Chris Bouguyon, challenges students to open their spirit, strengthen their body and calm their mind.
