NEW! J Chef Cooking Classes
Learning cooking skills and gaining confidence in the kitchen is so important for kids today. In our fast-paced lives when the most convenient options are typically not the healthiest options, having the know-how to be able to cook is becoming increasingly important. Through cooking, kids learn other skills like math, a true appreciation for where food comes from, and it helps teach kids how to take control of their health. Starting this fall we will be offering small cooking classes to kids in grades K - 3rd and 4th - 6th. These classes are going to be very small, so please be sure to register early.
- September 18 | 2 - 4 pm. Kids in grades 4 - 6 will learn how to make tapas.
- October 9 | 2 - 4 pm. To celebrate the start of autumn, kids in grades K - 3 will be learning how to make several different pumpkin items.
- November 13 | 2 - 4 pm. Kids in grades 4 - 6 will be learning how to make different Thanksgiving foods; you can put them to work in the kitchen when it’s time to cook for Turkey Day.
- December 4 | 2 - 4 pm. Kids in grades K - 3 will be learning how to make different types of Hanukkah foods.
