Change Happens When Change Happens

Our trainers have more than 150 years of combined, hands-on experience, and every one of them starts the same way: by asking what you actually want. Then they build the program around it.

Start with an orientation or assessment, then choose how you want to train.

Equipment Orientation

Ages 15+Members, free

A certified trainer walks you through every strength and cardio piece on the floor: setup, alignment, biomechanics, and technique. The fastest way to feel at home in the complex.

Fitness Assessment

Weight, body composition, resting and exercise heart rate, blood pressure, circumferences, and musculoskeletal condition. Your first assessment is the baseline; later ones show the progress.

One-on-One Training

Tone up, drop weight, get faster for your sport, rebuild after an injury, or just stop doing the same workout you've done for ten years. Single sessions and packages.

Partner Training

Ages 13+

Train with a spouse, friend, or teammate and split the session. Same program design, shared accountability, lower cost per person.

Pricing is set by package length and trainer level. Your consultation includes a quote, with member and non-member rates.

How It Works

Book a consultation. Fifteen minutes with Shan or a trainer, in person or by phone. We talk goals, schedule, injuries, and budget.

Get matched. We pair you with a trainer whose specialty and availability fit. You can always ask for someone specific.

Train. Sessions are scheduled directly with your trainer. Twenty-four hours' notice to cancel, or the session is charged. Packages are good for 90 days from purchase, gift certificates included.

Reassess. Every eight to twelve weeks, repeat the assessment and adjust the program.

Questions People Ask

Do I have to be a member?
Yes for training on the fitness floor; the floor is members only. Non-members can book an assessment or consultation and train once they join.
How much does it cost?
It depends on package size and trainer level. Your consultation includes an exact quote. Partner sessions and larger packages lower the per-session price.
Can I buy training as a gift?
Yes. Gift certificates are available at the fitness desk and follow the same 90-day expiration from purchase.
I'm coming back from an injury. Is that okay?
Several trainers specialize in post-rehab and corrective work. Mention it at your consultation, and if you're under a physician's care, bring any restrictions in writing. The J also offers on-site physical therapy.
