
DJHS and J Dallas Announce Strategic Partnership
DALLAS, TX — The Dallas Jewish Historical Society (DJHS) and the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center of Dallas (JCC) today announced a formal strategic partnership, formalizing a longstanding relationship and shared commitment to preserving Jewish identity, deepening community connection, and elevating Jewish learning across Dallas.
Under a signed Memorandum of Understanding, the two organizations will collaborate on programming, shared services, and staff development, combining DJHS’s archival expertise with the JCC’s reach and resources to serve the broader Dallas Jewish community.

Joint Programming
The partnership will bring a diverse slate of programs to JCC members and the wider community, including: “History on the Rocks,” a quarterly evening series pairing Jewish history with a themed cocktail; curated oral history screenings and genealogy workshops; “Torah in Texas,” exploring Jewish ethics through Dallas archival documents; pop-up photography exhibits and film and history nights; and the signature Ginger Jacobs DJHS Bus Tours, featuring local Jewish history routes and regional trips such as the Southern Jewish Civil Rights Tour and the Galveston immigration story. DJHS will also deliver staff and board development programming for the JCC, including “Jewish Dallas 101” and archival immersion tours.
